The representatives of Morena will participate in the informational assembly of President Claudia Sheinbaum, as highlighted by the coordinator of the bench in the LXI local legislature, Edgar Inzunza Ballesteros. "Of course we will be participating in support of the president and the sovereignty of the country," he said.
Inzunza Ballesteros emphasized that they are keeping an eye on the dialogues between the national leader and her counterpart in the United States regarding the pause in the imposition of tariffs. He also detailed that some citizens have requested support to attend the event, so fellow members of the movement are collaborating and offering space in vehicles. He highlighted that both members and supporters are organizing to ensure their presence in the assembly.
"They want to go and express their support for the president and the country, and it is necessary to work on unity in the homeland in the face of this threat of tariffs and strengthen national sovereignty," the coordinator expressed. Therefore, he called on citizens to go to the Zócalo of Mexico City and join the strategies to strengthen the economy of the country.
